Case Study:   Talent & Knowledge Protection & Growth

The Client:
A  large UK Regulatory body

The Issue:
Demand for regulatory services was moving from the UK to Europe resulting in the potential loss of critical skills in the UK without which the organisation would not function effectively

The Requirement:
To find  new industry positioning and income streams to attract and retain talent and thereby continue to provide a world-class service to Government and commercial stakeholders.

The Solution:
Following a three-month analysis and discussion period  it was decided that the best way forward was to accelerate the growth of the organisation’s International Services division.  The division offered basic training and services to governments and commercial companies worldwide but on a limited basis.

We designed a series of Team Accelerators to take the existing management team through the concepts of competitive activity, portfolio definition, product management, account management, operational strategies and financial strategies.

We worked with the team to ensure that they had the commercial, operational and leadership knowledge to launch the business with an upgraded portfolio to key identified markets.

The Outcome:
As a result, the organisation has recruited three further senior members, the upgraded portfolio is being launched and a growth plan of 50% per annum for each of the next four years is seen as very achievable by the leadership team.

The overall organisation now has the impetus and critical mass of committed executives to prosper in its new form.
